Yordan Trifonov No. 8, entrance B (GG Technology Ltd) is administrator and processor of personal data, and compliance with legislation for the protection of personal data is a priority and an ethical value for us. We take all necessary steps to ensure that Your personal data is processed safely, securely and in accordance with the requirements of the applicable Bulgarian legislation and the General Regulation on protection of personal data (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 - GDPR).

This policy affects the Company's activities arising from the mobile application CarDiary and the domain car-diary.net

With this Privacy Policy, we inform you what personal data we collect and for what purposes, how we use and store them, when we provide to third parties, as well as the conditions for processing personal data and the technical measures we have taken to secure it security.

GG Technology Ltd reserves the right to change and update this Privacy Policy to ensure compliance with Bulgarian and European legislation.

3. What types of personal data do we collect?

Contact data when registering on the platform: name, surname, email mail, password, country, city, ID from Facebook, Google, Huawei or Apple. For the public checks on the website, an account may be created with only the email you enter and a temporary password that we send to that address, together with the data from the check.

Data of the vehicle added to the platform: make, model, registration number, date of first registration, generation, engine, fuel, mileage, type, color, VIN (frame number), warranty expiration date and other data entered by you for the vehicle.

Data added for the respective vehicle such as repairs, refueling, trips, checklists, reminders, location, notes, photos, fees and more similar.

Data optionally provided for personal document reminders: driving licence expiry date, identity card expiry date, your notification preference and technical information about the last reminder sent.

For marketing purposes and website and app activity statistics, we record and temporarily store some of the data on your device such as browser type, operating system, country, city, etc.

All other data added by the registered user on the platform.

Data when using user messaging: sender and recipient identifiers, message content, date and time sent, read status, optional link to a discussion or discussion reply, and user block data.

Data when using the car parts marketplace (Buy / Sell): title, description, photo, price, currency, city, listing status, publication / approval date and the seller’s publicly displayed name. When you contact a seller via messages, the data in the previous point also applies.

Data published by the user in discussions (title, content, photos, etc.) when you use that feature.

Data processed for the average costs feature: selected repair prices, selected yearly tax and fee amounts, and vehicle fuel consumption that you have already entered for your vehicles, linked only by brand, model and (where applicable) engine. Individual expense records, registration numbers, VIN, user identity and location are not included in the published averages.

4. Why do we collect, process and store personal data? Grounds:

A contract (Terms of Use) between you and the platform that you are accepted when registering your account.

Fulfillment of our legal obligations (for accounting, tax and others obligations to state and/or municipal bodies and institutions).

For the purposes of our legitimate interest (fulfilment of legal obligations and possibility to identify the perpetrators of illegal actions, that harm us or our user).

Consent provided by you when registering on the platform (in all other cases not mentioned above).

5. What is the purpose of collecting, processing and storing personal data?

To manage your requests/verifications to third parties (Verification for violations to the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, checking for validity of the GO, checking for vignette validity and others).

For a better experience when registering an account on the platform CarDiary.

To send you personalized marketing messages, news about updates, push notifications, special offers, etc.

To manage your legal claims and protect our legitimate interest, incl. for protection, safety and dispute resolution. GG Technology Ltd may store and process your data to protect the systems it uses, to detect and fraud prevention when required by applicable law.

To respond to your request in connection with the exercise of your rights.

To fulfill the obligations of GG Technology Ltd to the NRA, The Ministry of the Interior, the National Tax Service and other state and municipal bodies, as well as to respond to requests for the provision of information from national regulators (CRC, KZP, CPLD) in connection with complaints or other procedures filed before these bodies, as well as to provide them to other government or law enforcement authorities services for the purposes of administrative control, safety control, prevention and detection of offenses and crimes.

To store the driving licence and identity card expiry dates entered by you and send reminders when you have enabled this feature.

To provide private messaging between registered users, send notifications about new messages, moderate content and protect against abuse.

To provide the car parts marketplace — publishing, approval, public display of listings on the website, connecting buyers with sellers and administering listings.

To publish and moderate discussions when you use that feature.

To provide the average costs feature — calculating and displaying indicative community average prices for selected repairs, yearly taxes/fees and fuel consumption by brand, model and (where applicable) engine, based on aggregated data from users of the platform.

6. What are the terms for collection, processing and storage of personal data data?

Your personal data as users of the websites and mobile applications of GG Technology Ltd are collected and processed during the term of validity of the concluded contract under general conditions (i.e. for the period of validity of your registration). Upon termination of your registration, GG Technology Ltd deletes all your personal data.

Driving licence and identity card expiry dates, notification preferences and technical data about reminders sent are retained until you change or delete them, or until your account is deleted.

The mandatory information we require on the forms is mandatory, because it is necessary for concluding a contract and/or processing yours requests, and to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations. You have a choice whether or not to provide this information.

User messages are stored while your account exists, unless the law requires longer retention. The recipient of a message can access its content and sending metadata. When an account is deleted, messages are deleted or anonymised unless the law requires retention.

Car parts marketplace listings and related data are kept for the publication period and for a reasonable time after removal for administration, moderation and legal claims, unless longer retention is required by law. Approved listings may remain publicly visible on the website until removed.

Average costs statistics are generated from data already stored in your account (repairs, taxes/fees and vehicle consumption). Aggregates are recalculated from current data; when you delete the relevant records or your account, those values are no longer included in future averages. Temporary technical caches of aggregates may be kept for a short period for performance.

7. Access to your data

We may share your information with third parties (eg Google Analytics, Google Maps, Firebase) by processing partially or fully Your personal data (for example, to provide services related to sending of marketing information, to conduct research, to analyze your actions on the platform, etc.).

To the extent possible, we store your information on servers that located within the European Union and/or the European Economic Area space.

We may need to share your personal data with third parties if this required to comply with a legal or administrative obligation or court order.

Data can be provided to the National Revenue Agency, National Insurance Agency, National Tax Agency, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Traffic Police and others legally established recipients when the applicable legislation so requires.

Private message content is shared only between conversation participants and with GG Technology Ltd for technical support, moderation and legal compliance. We do not sell message content to third parties for marketing.

Public car parts listings (title, description, photo, price, city, seller name) are accessible to website visitors and registered platform users. You provide listing data voluntarily in order to sell parts or be contacted by buyers.

Average costs results are shown only as aggregated statistics (for example average price and sample size) to authenticated users of the platform who use the feature. We do not share your individual repair, tax or consumption records with other users through this feature.

8. Storage of personal data

GG Technology Ltd has implemented the highest security measures against unauthorized and unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage to personal data.

9. Your rights

Right of access to your personal data, namely whether GG Technology Ltd processes your data and on what basis this happens, and in the cases, where applicable, and access to the data itself, namely a copy of your data.

Right to rectification and right to erasure/correction - this means the right to request the correction of inaccurate and/or incomplete data, as well as the deletion of data when this request is legitimate.
